An early Christmas Gift

December 4th, 2006 at 09:39 am

DH and I are over the moon, we just found out we are expecting our first baby in July 07!

Next week we will sit down and crunch baby fund figures...Thankfully, most of my friends and SILs are done having kids and I have been the lucky recipient of their castoffs (many never used at all).

    Tina: Thanks!!!

BA: It means happy, happy, happy, I think it may be a regional kind of phrase...

  6. Broken Arrow Says:

Ah, thanks! I don't know if it's regional or not, but at least I know what it means now. Big Grin

We use over the moon up here in WA state. It's sort of like floating on Cloud Nine or Walking with your Feet off the Ground.

Congratulations, and here's to a healthy and happy and relatively comfortable and symptom free pregnancy!

Lucky Robin: I am from WA state, so I think it must be a regional thing! Glad somebody else recognized it!

I am always amazed when a couple is expecting a child........there is a child waiting to be born that they will discover they would lay down their lives for. It will be the most unconditional love you will ever know.

  21. fairy74 Says:

Thanks everyone, Marymara: that is a beautiful way of putting it, some days I cannot believe it myself. I am 32 so I waited a little longer to become a mom than most of my friends and relatives, but it is the right timing and that makes such a big difference
