Gifts almost done!

October 30th, 2006 at 05:04 pm

Went through gift closet this weekend and realized I have almost all Christmas gifts covered (except DH)also have all November and December birthdays covered. Have been buying an ornament for one of my nephews each year since he was born (he's 6 now) found a spiderman ornament (his favorite) on sale for $2.95 at KMART. Yahoo!

Also found mountain bike on sale at Walmart that DH has been salivating over. His birthday is Wednesday, so I've got his gift covered too!

Planning ahead and paying in cash are really paying off...now if only I could figure out how to make the Christmas cards write themselves....

LOL If you figure out that trick, be sure to let us all know! Great job on the holiday shopping! I get a Turkey Day Bonus plus an extra paycheck in December this year, so it'll be the fist year EVER that I am using cash for the gifts and not putting anything on the CC. You've be a fab inspiration!!! Smile

Hehe. I just finished wrapping my Christmas gifts a couple of days ago too. What a great feeling it is to not feel the holiday rush! Big Grin

I have my Christmas shopping almost done too. I start in January, and hit the Wal-Mart toy clearance when it is 75% off! I shop all year, and buy things when they are on clearance.
I just wrapped some fabulous gifts I got for very little for my daughter's Nov. birthday, and I don't have any of the cost on credit cards!
Shoppig this way, allows for much nicer gifts, at very little money, compared to running to the mall, at the last minute.
